Protech Site Services have been instructed to recruit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor for a medium size established construction company constructing multiple housing sites, individual bespoke builds, refurbishments, extensions and fit-out projects.
The primary focus of this role will be to assist the site and project surveyors in the development and implementation of all pre and post contract strategies, commercial functions and contract reporting. The role will be based at our head-office in Watford.
Responsibilities:
- Monthly valuations
- Programming
- Tender documents
- Measuring drawings
- Procurement
- Payments
- Cost-reporting
- Site meetings
Skills and Qualifications:
- A degree in Quantity Surveying or similar / Equivalent HND
- Experience working on commercial projects
- Contractual knowledge
- A good work ethic and strong interpersonal skills
